The week progressed as we continue the Operational Excellence training that first week of August 2009.
For lunch on the second day, my colleagues headed again to Cafe 9 (Building 9) inside Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington, across the venue of our training (Building 11).
For this day's lunch, I continued to eat Asian food. This time I had a mixed sautee of beef and vegetables, served on top of rice.
During lunch breaks we get to play foosball because a table is just outside our training room.
On my way back, I took a shuttle to Redmond Town Center Building 4 again and this time explored inside the building first (and admittingly raided the pantry for a couple of drinks!).
My friend and office colleague Johnny transferred to my hotel and shared room with me through the rest of the week so we can save cost (talk about corporate responsibility!) and do some stuffs after office hours with someone who can speak the same native language. He brought with him some groceries and junk food and what used to be an empty kitchen in my unit came all sort of food!
I also noticed that they posted in the refrigrerator a calendar of evening events like cocktails and other get-together activities hosted by the hotel management for tenants.
I previously mentioned that we attempted to eat in this restaurant the night before but we got carded (and eventually evicted). On our second dinner, we made sure that this time we'll be successful.

Superb treat to end the day. It was a fine dinner and I ended up getting bloated for two consecutive nights!
